Utterly riveting and engrossing, Mark O’Rowe’s enigmatic play reveals a profound truth about relationships. Three conversations draw us into the inner lives of Anna, Cora and Denise. What will they reveal to each other? And what does each of them have to hide? “It takes a crisis of some sort sometimes, or an upheaval, for people to really evaluate how they feel about one another, doesn’t it?”
The Approach is an exploration of betrayal and an appeal to listen before it’s too late.
Tickets start at $20. In connection with the production, St. Ann’s Warehouse presents a conversation with O’Rowe, the cast members, and Irish author Louise O’Neill following the January 23 performance.

Created and directed by celebrated choreographer Maria Bauman-Morales, Desire: A Sankofa Dream is a site responsive and interactive work tailored specifically for Zoom intended to be a healing performance ritual around Black Queer survival techniques.
The work was originally created pre-pandemic to be staged across multiple spaces with the idea that audience members would become witness participants. The virtual version of the show also integrates the audiences as witness participants and is part scored improvisation, part choreography, part visual design, and part choose-choose-your-own-adventure.
Presented by 651 Arts and the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance (BAAD!).

The Reading SeriesThe Reading Series is a new live performance series dedicated to bringing you live theater while raising money for charities making a difference right now. During our monthly events, audiences are encouraged to donate to the charity of choice for that performance. More than anything, we want to bring theater to anyone who wants to see it. We believe there should be no barriers to seeing live performances, and now during COVID-19, we are bringing those performances directly into households across the globe. We hope you can join us.https://thereadingseries.org/contact-us

When troublemaker Teo is assigned to clean up a vacant lot belonging to the elderly Elí O’Reilly, these two unlikely friends form a bond forged in history and America’s pastime. Inspired by the playwright’s research into the history of San Diego’s Logan Heights neighborhood, Under a Baseball Sky celebrates communities and individuals coming together to find hope, healing, and love.

Frances Burney’s rarely seen 18th century proto-feminist satire is a hilarious story of broken engagements, excessive romanticism – and one massively misguided misogynist.
Sir Roderick has turned frantic misogynist for two reasons: he was jilted 17 years previously and his sister had the gall to marry his ex-fiancee’s brother. Burney’s outrageously witty comedy of manners bursts into life with the introduction of the former fiancee, Lady Smatter, who has turned into a voracious and addle-brained bookworm.
With its unforgettable characters and delicious absurdity, The Woman Hater is a lost comic treat. As directed by Everett Quinton (Red Bull’s The Mystery of Irma Vep and the Ridiculous Theatrical Company), it’s sure to be a doubly sweet one.

Asè examines racial sensitivity in the workplace during the Trump era, in the midst of the 2020 election. It focuses on the tension that builds between a white executive and her black assistant, and how “diversity trainings” are being used as a cure-all fix rather than to address deeper systemic challenges and racial injustices.
